Our Mission…

The Writers’ Collective’s mission is to identify, develop, and maximize opportunities for writers across a multitude of media platforms, including bookstores, online, and film. We have partnered with published and award-winning writers, developmental experts, agents on the cutting edge of publishing, EBooks, and distribution and marketing specialists to offer self-published writers all the tools available to mainstream writers. Ask us about our patented BookLab to take you through writing and publishing from A to Z.

The myth of the lonely writer slaving away in solitude only to be discovered by some questing agent is exactly that – a myth. In reality, writing and publishing are a collaborative process that requires a team approach: you – the writer – a developmental reader, a copy editor, a publicist who also handles your online presence, a designer for your covers, and an agent (or a good self-publishing company).

The good news? With technology, all these tasks can be accomplished quickly, professionally and inexpensively. It can also be done well, with panache and an absolute minimum of hassle. Best of all, you will learn to become a better writer. Your next book will be much easier to write, publish and market since your platform will be established.

The Writers’ Collective will help you identify the best people, platforms, and strategies to get your book into readers’ hands. We are also actively involved with developing, marketing, and pitching to agents manuscripts that grab our attention.

  1. I have been extensively published in the non-fiction world and want to move into fiction. I am interested in learning more about this group, especially about any real-world meetings. Please let me know the best way to do that. Thanks

    • Hello!
Please email the director of A Writers’ Collective at jcboulder@gmail.com. This is a system set up to support writers with coaches, not writing groups so my guess would be that there are no real-world meetings, but he can address your questions more directly.
      All the best-
      Tammy
